Customer Managed Applies to customer-managed instances of Alation
The Alation Services Manager is a prerequisite for Bots.
In order to operate, Bots require access to two key Alation components:
Bots use Alation Analytics (AAv2) to monitor the catalog.
Bots use Alation APIs to take action.
