Redwood City, Calif. – November 19, 2020 – Alation Inc., the data intelligence company, today announced award-winning journalist and best-selling New York Times author, David Epstein, will keynote its upcoming RevAlation virtual user conference, set to take place on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020. Epstein will discuss change management and the power of network knowledge.
Epstein has authored two New York Times best-sellers — “Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World” and “The Sports Gene,” both of which have been translated to more than 20 languages. Epstein has given talks about performance science and the uses (and misuses) of data on five continents, and his TED Talks have been viewed more than nine million times. Previously, Epstein was a science and investigative reporter at ProPublica, and prior to that, a senior writer at Sports Illustrated. He holds a master’s degree in environmental science and journalism from Columbia University.
